If your parents tried to "match-make" you with someone, what would you do?

They have good taste.
That's a really good question, actually... if they didn't matchmake me with Ian, I'd run away and disown them!!! REALLY!!! ooo...
What about you!??

Or your parents could be really odd ducks
who ran away from home themselves.
MOM: Okay, Dragonfly, you win. You can have
Ian. But I don't want to put up with him,
so your father and I have assumed new
identities and started a new life somewhere else.
DAD: Life is short, Dragonfly, so we're
gonna have fun, fun, fun while we can.

ha. They don't have to do that, I'm moving to England.

ok, but what about if you're in love with someone else(not necessarily going out at this point in time)?...what if you're having to move away that that special person, who is a reminder that you're life is actually worth living...and they try and set you up with someone who you might not even like?

Then you try to tell them how you feel.

Do we have to go into the Romeo and Juliet
scenario? They both ended up dead. Most
young lovers find ways to resolve things
(not necessarily with great enthusiasm, but
that's life), and live out their lives normally.
If they didn't, we wouldn't have an overpopulated
world.

ok, you have a point...I almost wrote up the conditions (no death etc. Juliet moving far away from Romeo etc.), but now see that it is probably quite pointless...
how have you been Paul?

Hi.
I had the day off, and had a good
time driving around from store to
store. Had a great lunch at a buffet
place.
I feel relaxed.
The only fly in the ointment is lilacs,
which I am allergic to. They are starting
to bloom now. My eyes itched so much today
that I started taking antihistamines,
which (a.) upset my stomach, and (b.)
make me drowsy. So far, neither problem
is severe.
I hope you are enjoying Spring.
