It was a clean kill. Our bountry is now trussed and tied to the bonnet for the journey home. A good beast for her size "plenty of eatin' on one o' dem things" as my pappy used to say before The Whisky took him. Aye we'll live like kings alone, possibly mad and beset by a faint but unmistakable odour of horse.
