Um... depends - I've now got my computer signed into the network at uni. Last year however, in a bid to reduce some of the burden on the servers the uni closed down port 12. Big deal? Well that was the port that MSN and AOL used to access, I won't know if they've re-opened the port until I get back there and try it out over the weekend.
