Many fond greetings, farewells, introductions and conclusions to you all, depending on your state of motion. I'm Kate, also known as KitKat, and I'm a new Researcher here at the Guide. All the old researchers were going senile and forgetting how to spell things like "hypoactive multilingualism" and "cat", so along comes h2g2 and recruits youngsters like me, who don't know the meaning of "hypoactive multilingualism" but can certainly spell it. I can't say that I remember ever being off the planet for longer than a day at a time, but I do have assurances that at those times I wasn't under the influence of any long, illegal-sounding drugs, so I think you can trust me. My research right now deals with the possibility of getting to Alpha Centauri at the speed of gravity, so feel free to email me any suggestions on the subject! ([email protected]);-)
