Mistadrong - don't worry, we all exist, as fictional characters, on here (look at our names - even the occasional 'real' name has been existentially transmogrified into its fictional equivalent by the context)

That silly t*rt in the introduction for idiots who are on the deaf side has far too many teeth/crowns for her mouth, large as it is.
Sorry girls, but this one really does seem to be a silly t*rt. No other word for it.

i installed ccleaner on pc and it w*rks great, but this leads me to the following question: where on a pc do you find the folder containing 'recently shown documents"?
i am asking this because in the past i have sometimes had to use a colleagues pc, but i don't want those colleagues to see what i have been w*rking with. how do i delete 'recently used documents' from the start up menu
i could of course download ccleaner on all the pc's i borrow, but that would not be fair
i know how to delete from macs. i only have this problem with pc's
not the worlds biggest problem, but still

Does anyone know a good 'cleaner' for Macs. Years ago (back in system 7 days) I had a a superb program that tidied everything up so that the(very limited - 40 bu§§ermite!) hard drive ran smoothly. I can't find one for OSX?

You could try Hitmanpro2, Dutch site co-ordinating allthe free virus, spycheck and webroot scanners available on the net and applies them to your computer. I find it very good as a free site and program.
Does clean up system well.
I have others But they are professional and use them to check my system, and emails, against interlopers - tracers work both ways

Heres another famous one for those who like music, and mix it, or put it on the web.

Pierce, by default it's in
C :\ Documents and Settings \ user name \ Recent Documents
You have to show hidden files, and it looks like a piece of paper with writing with a clock in front of it, rather than a "normal" folder.

Hidden files are similar to "secrets" that are on the covers of the supermarket tabloids. As soon as millions of people know the secrets (by seeing them on the tabloid covers), then they aren't secrets any more.

Here's a nice little programe that keeps an eye on your hard drive's health. It's free and doesn't use up a lot of resources.
