Pierre de la Mer ~ sometimes slightly worried but never panicking ~ Started conversation Oct 17, 2004
i just spent the first of two weeks holiday on crete/greece, most of the time strolling through sun drenched olive and orange groves, listening to competing cicadas
okay-okay, i may as well admit right away that a few hours were spent in small and cozy village taverns
the second week i spent in my own home back in cold, wet and windy denmark, fighting a massive cold
but i have to admit it's getting better, it's getting better...
...and tomorrow i'll be back at ye olde treadmill
see you
yup, i'm back!

i suspect the order was more like; visit taverna then wake up in olive grove due to noise of cicadas
yup, i'm back!

I hope you were nice to the Cretins, Pierce, so they'll let you back in the next time you want to wander through olivorange groves.
Sorry about the cold. Why didn't you spend *two* weeks in sunny, warm Crete?
yup, i'm back!

I hear it gets worse as you go further south, Batty. They have alligators stuffed with senior citizens,

hati: never empty the bitter cup of - not even if it is only half full
pheloxi: i actually got the cold when i was on Crete, so wearing something warm when i returned to Denmark came very naturally
paul h: why did i not spent two weeks on Crete, i hear you ask. Why the didn't you ask that earlier?
thank you all
yup, i'm back!

oh...
well, i guess it's okay then...
besides: i think my bank has a fairly good answer to your question. as a matter of fact they called me the first day i was on crete and asked what the i was doing there and where did i get the money from for the ticket, hotel, restaurant etc.
i told them if they couldn't figure that out they weren't suited for their jobs
yup, i'm back!

My bank advisor called me in today to tell me that the loans and overdrafts I have are very good business for the bank. But she felt obligated to tell me that if a agreed to a low interest loan of 162.000 kr. in the house it would be much better for me. I can pay out the debt and the overdrafts - a have a bit for a rainy day (read: new windows) - and it will be aprox the same monthly payment - for a few years more, granted.
But from now on I'll pay 10.000 kr. less a year on interest.
How is that?

t., I'd check up the banker's sleeve before making a change.
Pierce, how dare you go off without me! I'll forgive you this one last time.
Glad you're back...now, let's see your front, at the Holloween party at the pub. (that goes for the rest of you as well)
yup, i'm back!

Pandora - - She had short sleeves and is distractingly beautiful. But I *did* check the sums and numbers, thoroughly - and twice. It'll be a new experience not to juggle with minus sums
Party Which pub is that?
yup, i'm back!
