Coffeecoffeecoffeecoffee....

Wow, I was on here until about ten past 2 in the morning last night- far later than I usually stay up. Now, I'm not a person who needs much sleep at all, but when you go to sleep at that time, and then get woken up by the sound of the phone, I think you're allowed to be cranky...
Anyway, enough about my lack of sleep- what I was doing up so late was updating my page (and writing a guide entry... and hosting a party...). Doesn't it look pretty? Of course, it's not finished yet- still a long way to go, but it finally means I can take down the disclaimer explaining why it looked so crappy. And I think I'm getting the hang of HTML too. Just to let you know, my absolute favourite thing on the page is the blue block above my Angels and ACEs drop down list- such a nice way to break up the page (and thanks to Dr EV from whom I stole the code smiley - winkeye).
Plus, I wrote that Angel (the spin-off) guide entry I've been meaning too, and I think I've worked out a way that I can rewrite my Buffy guide entry, and submit it smiley - smiley
Plus (well I might as well update you on everything) I've just been promoted to Archangel smiley - smileysmiley - smileysmiley - smiley. So, I'm now an ACE, an Archangel, and (if they're taking on more people soon) hopefully I'll be a sub-editor in the future. Which will mean work experience smiley - smiley I reckon that'll look great on my UCAS form smiley - winkeye
Can't wait to write that guide entry on those babies (I bagsied it months ago from Angel and Thistle smiley - winkeye).

Hellish...

Just to pacify Zax *g* I've begun the process of changing my page to HTML. So, while the quotation at the top of the intro now looks fantastic, the rest of the page is somewhat... inadequate. Help would be appreciated *looks hopeful*.
Quick update, as I haven't written in here for a while. The exams are finally at an end so I'm a free agent. I'm also now a sixth year (complete with seventeen free periods and (very soon) a prefect badge) which, so far, ROCKS! The common room sucks, but we're allowed to use the facilities over at our recreation centre so a bunch of us have taken over the lounge. Which is really no better, but it's not overcrowded by morons and those who like to listen to Radiohead. And before anyone beats me up, there is no correlation between those two insults, I just don't like Radiohead.
I'm also an ACE (finally) so I'm actually a something, rather than a nothing. And I *will* do this properly and welcome newcomers. It's just that I seem to scare them off. Am I scary? People tend to say this, and I have proof to support their accusations- I once took a personality test which reckoned I would hurt people (physically and mentally) to get ahead in life. And I actually didn't cheat, which I usually do with tests like that. So, maybe I'm driving people from h2g2 (see, self-esteem issues).
My God, how can I write all this shallow drivel? I apologise for taking up your precious time with self-indulgent rambling....

There's definite woo *and* hoo...

Halfway through the exams- English, Maths and French gone smiley - smiley And, thank God, maths wasn't as hideous as I was expecting. Ok, so I've still probably failed, but at least I'm optimistic.
No, seriously, I think I've done ok (touch wood... or whatever the cyber equivalent is...).
So, all I've got left is Human Biology and Modern Studies.
Revision? Right! Buffy's on tonight smiley - smiley

One down...

So that was the English exam huh? Well, not the terrible, pain-filled experience I was dreading, but not a walk in the park either. And now I have to wait until bloody August to find out if I passed or not smiley - sadface + Grrrrrr.
Anyway, day off tomorrow and then *screams in terror and anguish*...
Maths.
*funeral march plays in the background*
What dy'a reckon? Am I looking forward to this exam...

Wonder if you can get someone to break both your legs this time of night...

It's finally over!

Yes! I have finished 5th year for ever and ever! Today was my last day of school before exams start (ick). So I'm well on my way to being a 6th year. Independence, adult-being and most important- free periods smiley - smiley Can I so not wait.
Scary stuff though- Highers start on Tuesday (luck-wishing everyone) and I'm kinda freaking out. I guess it's cos... they're my Highers. The whole of my life has been building to this moment (sad huh?) and if I mess it up...
*sigh*
Ok, back to happy- I NEVER HAVE TO SIT THROUGH ANOTHER MATHS CLASS EVER AGAIN!!!!!!
Boy, that even beats the physics giving-up smiley - smiley
