Hi Keeza-P-P
Tigger Posted Mar 2, 2000
1st cold of the winter ?! - now that's what I call lucky, I've lost count ....
Both sprogs are at nursery today, but I'm expecting a 'phone call saying that one or the other needs to be picked up.
Sleep deprivation is happening big time now, I hope for all our sakes that they get fully better soon (today)

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Oh, that's nice, snuggle snuggle ................Thanks
The phone call came at 12:30, the elder one had 'collapsed' i.e. she'd been full of beans & then suddenly she had no energy etc., so I picked them both up & took 'em home.
However, last night wasn't so bad, I actually got ~2 hours sleep - which may not seem much, but to a starving man ....
So, has spring really arrived then ? are the birds singing ? is it wonderful in the frozen wastes ? how close ae you to the Siberian steppes ?

Sometimes it feels like we're very close. Not this winter, though. It's another mild day. I've already seen a robin! I don't dare say that spring is here. That would just be asking for snow. I hate shovelling. Would you like some honey-flavoured blue cookies? They are still warm. *hands Tigger a plate of delicious cookies* Do you have anything planned for the weekend?

P.S. I'm trying a new conversation title, I think is more accurately describes what's being discussed !

Love the title. What day is your birthday? My Mom's was March 8. I miss her dearly. I have got nothing planned as yet. My Dad and new Mum called from Florida last night, and they are having a fabulous time. It was 79 F at 6:30, and they had just gotten out of their indoor pool!

Indoor pool - you guys really know how to live it up ..... The only indoor pool(s) we have, are when the kids have an 'accident'!
My grandmother's birthday was the 6th, so it looks like March is quite a popular month. (Now, March - 9 months = ??)

I've got the same birthday as my Mum's! I'm like a permanent birthday prezzie to her! Most people's reaction to that is "wow" but one or two always say "your poor mum, being in hospital on her birthday!"
Oh dear Tigger, now I know what I put my parents through when I was younger! I'm an asthmatic and always have my attacks either late or in the middle of the night! That meant that my parents had to come to casualty ith me and sit there for goodness how many hours! The last time I was in hospital with breathing related problems was about 4 or 5 years ago, it turned out to be a chest infection in the end, but it was pretty worrying to find that you can't breathe and when you attempt to it hurts! Thankfully my attacks have died down now, but if I end up in a hospital ward it's due to an injury. The last time was the beginning of December when I sprained my ankle. At least that was aroung 4:30 in the afternoon, for once! The really annoying thing is that now I've got older they leave me in a place where you can see people with the grusome injuries. When I was younger they never left me anywhere near that. When I went for my sprained ankle, I was still 13, I was waiting for an X ray and they left this guy in the same room as me and he had blood gushing out of his knee-literally! I turned away and hid my face, just to make sure I couldn't see any graphic detail!

My wife was due on the same day as her mother but delayed it for 2 days 'to have her own birthday'!
Hi Ali -
How went your weekend, nice walks in the spring weather ? did the nice weather continue ?
You're right, it does seem like we know each other quite well -which considering w've only been chatting for a couple of moths, is quite impressive !

Hi Tig. I had a great weekend. The weather was great. It's beautiful again today. Yesterday, we cleaned up our yard. Rosee had toys all over the place. I mean like 30 toys. We picked up all the sticks and cleaned up the woods behind our house, then we had a nice bonfire. We had quite a few beers, too. How was your weekend? Is the weather nice there, too?

Hi Ali,
Unfortunately, at the moment weekends are survived, rather than really enjoyed - but hopefully things will improve soon

I'm sorry to hear that. Are you having a party tomorrow? Don't forget your birthday wish. I always wish for a million more wishes. I use them up really fast. I wish you could enjoy your weekends again. *blink* Oh, I should have wished you could enjoy every day. That's a much better wish. *blink*

Thank you Ali, your 'wishes' are much appreciated.
No party, but we've organised babysitters, so we're going out for a meal !
At the moment, there is a lot 'in the air' at the same time, which is making life a little stressful, but hopefully some of the issues may sort themselves soon.

Cheers Ali,
The meal (pizza's - we really live it up!) was really nice - having time to ourselves to *slowly* enjoy a meal was a real luxury, Thanks again for your good wishes & emotions, it's truely appreciated.

Glad to hear you had a good birthday. Angus will be in St. Catherines on Saturday. I'm going to win tickets for my boyfriend, Dwayne, and Chris. Dwayne will win an autographed guitar. See you tomorrow. *kiss* Allison

I like the 'will win' bit, sounds like a bit of predetermination !
Have fun
