Had a great weekend, thanks - carried on 'stripping' paper off the hall walls - amazing what cracks are emerging (I suspect the paper was put up a week before we looked around the house !)

Watched Ski Sunday, Herman Maier continued his blitzkrieg - what an incredible downhiller !

Cooked a good stew & jacket spuds last night ....

yes, we had a lovely roast chicken with mushroom dressing, gravy, and little, round spuds. the dogs & cats love chicken, and the parrot loves potatoes. everyone joined in the feast. i just realised that Weds. is Groundhog Day. we should have a special celebration. (not that we need an excuse to party) care for a whitechoccy ?@

i believe i prefer white. i used to work in a choclate factory in Vancouver. Purdy's. it was like willy wonka's.@ hey, Tig, do you have pets? i mean, other than sprogs.@

about ten years ago, we were adopted by a black kitten - who is called 'Unix' (hey, don't look at me like that, 'twas better than Dos or Windows!)

She has slowly got used to the idea of the 2 noisey additions, but best likes it curled up on the window sill above the radiator !, out of the reach of little fingers!
