it's that time of the month a monthly rant

No - company was fun.

First, my bro in law came over and planted an apple tree and two blueberry bushes. Then he left.

Then my sister came and took me to the eye doctor's. They're going to do laser surgery at the end of July.

Then we ran to the store, and decided to grab something to eat, since the restaurant with the gluten-free menu is nearby.

Then we got home and found that the lawn mower guy was there finishing up - and his kids were there. His granddaughter is adorable, so we kidnapped her to play with for awhile.

Back to boring work tomorrow. But it was nice to get out. And torment the eye doctor.

No. I had the cataracts removed five years ago.

This is something that sometimes happens AFTER that. It's clouding up in the bit behind the artificial lens.

Yeah, see, the laser passes through the lens, I think, and cuts a hole in the part you see through.

No, because the procedure is called a YAG laser posterior capsulotomy. It is the lens capsule, not the cornea.
