Prof Only got caught in the rain when it was very light but I had my coat on. It has been bad day weather wise with bright and sunny spells.

Yes Prof, I am very safe from flooding, the only thing we get is lots of puddles and some rural roads partly flooded but it's usually only a very big puddle. I hope you have not had any flooding.

I have had a bit of shock last night when I heard my Mam had a suspected stroke and when my sister and I visited her this afternoon we were told that she was drinking and eating I was taken to see her by my sister as the hospital is very difficult to get to by public transport but apart from her left face (barely noticeable and it would have to be pointed out) she is doing fine expect she has the usual restlessness due to dementia. She has got strength back in her left arm and left leg. She is due a scan tonight bit indications so far it is a mini stroke. Will be seeing her again in tomorrow afternoon.

I think I 'll have a for a change.

Only once was there a minor flood and that was in the town of Grays (flash flood) where the shops were flooded but it was only a few inches and only lasted for an hour or more.
