My last journal entry of two thousand and nine and I can't think of owt daft t'write - bummer!
Ah well! t'is not with a great loss that I bid farewell to 2009.

For along comes 2010 and the daftness shall continue undiminished, as why change perfection


Remember! a smile a day only uses 17 muscles


the adage that it takes something like 43 muscles to frown but only 17 muscles to smile, ergo, we should just smile because it's easier.

there are only about 36 named muscles of facial expression, and they're not all involved in smiling and frowning.(a "2" in parentheses means the muscle is bilateral, "1" means it's unpaired):

My muscles are in severe need of some laughing exercise - two weeks of enforced 'company' is stretching my sense of humour to the limit. Roll on 2010 and the return of sanity (relative)!

Morning Prof, I prefer to smile as I have too many wrinkles as it is and I don't want anymore . As 2009 ends I have more grey hair than I started with but I prefer to call them natural highlights. I became an aunt for the first time this year which I'm quite happy about.I am already a mum and a grandmother but I must say one of the highlights of the year was getting a pc and getting back on h2, Although old friends are no longer here for various reasons I have caught up with them in other areas of the web,and I end the year a far richer person as I have made new friends here and I am blessed to count you as one of them.So no matter what you are doing in the next few days I wish you a very happy new year and look forward to the insanity that 2010 will bring
