i got a letter earlier this year to say virginmedia will be also replacing the old cable with the fibre optics,but as you said, i bet when it happens, the bill will rise

my cable as been on net for months, its only last week i also did the lecy/gas as well. email in poast. jim

will be missing for the day (Sunday) it's the first wipe out and reinstall of XP in the new year

some of my "windows" programs seem to be corrupted and not allowing certain things to run correctly ie: my CD/DVD drive and intermittently a "windows" box appears and says it's found a fault and then shuts down my Mozilla browser ?? reason unknown, as nothing wrong with it. Other programs I open to run, "windows" seems to struggle on what to do - so wipe out timeerr! back later

It sounds as though whatever was causing the problem has gone back in when you re-loaded all your stuff, prof. You need a nit comb

my cd/dvd driver was corrupt on the windows side and I think that was sort of spreading to other stuff, started a couple of month or so back, but I wasn't going to start before xmas

im half expecting to have to restore the cyber pc to at least the 31st of dec.its will be so slow with people that dont know how to disc cleanup or at least do an internet,temp flles delete.

the worst that some do is to gget wireless virus on the ruddy thing, then he as to do a 15 min, acronis, a full backup, from a while back.

its better than having a full reformat, i still need to replace, vlc,to the latest update, takes about two mins. J.H.D.

do an internet,temp files delete. - you can set that in explorer, to do it everytime you close the browser
