Being half Oirish; i can confirm that a truly good wake is a splendid send off & yes, you are expected to laugh, get very very drunk & remember the good times....there's really not much point in the ceremony otherwise.

You haven't offended me, i doubt anybody could, unless it was by non-thinking racism or somesuch. Even then, i wouldn't be "offended" as such, just angry & probably let rip with a tidal wave of *counter arguments*...

Ever since I was small, when I had any teeth out at the dentist or when they dropped out, I kept them and still have them in a little envelope .
