No, it wouldn't, because then one had to check two lists, in stead of one
This list contains 120 names, btw, and Teaserman is among them so in fact it's innocent beings, provided everyone was honest
I still don't see that name that I suggested in the first place... Vegiman
Innocent:
Irving Washington - Gone Writing Posted Dec 3, 1999
What precisely makes you suspect Vegiman?
Innocent:
The Mummy, administrator of the SETI@home Project (A193231) and The Reluctant Dead on the FFFF (A254314) Posted Dec 3, 1999
FS: Yups, a little more research
IW: I don't think I can really explain my suspicion
But the feeling is quite strong, and as long as nobody can prove Vegi and Teaser to be online simultaneously (and they won't be able to fool me, unless two people have access to the same Teaserman account), the feeling keeps gaining strength
Innocent:
Irving Washington - Gone Writing Posted Dec 3, 1999
Yes, to solve this we have to assume that Teaserman isn't trying to be crafty about it. At least we know he's not a complete moron, as he didn't type anything in for his "real name" (I looked him up on the "search h2g2" thingee. Of course, just because the name is Teaser_man_, does that mean that he's definately male?

Good question, but I'm not going to think too hard about that. (male/female question I mean). After all, Vegiman could be female as well, then
Innocent:
Jimi X Posted Dec 3, 1999
vegiman is definitely male. Unless he's gone through a lot of trouble to be known as 'Ken' just to throw us off!
Shouldn't this forum be continued on the Conspiracy Theories page?

And why shouldn't she pose as 'Ken' just to throw us off? You must all be thinking I'm male, especially those who have followed the link to my Start-Page out there on the web somewhere

Nope, I'm actually trying to make you believe that I'm implying not to be male. In the online community almost anyone can lead you on about almost anything if they want.
I guess what I'm trying to convey is: no matter what gender Teaserman implies to be, they can still be Veginman or anyone else, regardless of the gender their names imply.

If you're so content on confusing me, why should I believe you aren't Teaserman, and you're just mad at me for guessing right on the first try?
Innocent:
The Mummy, administrator of the SETI@home Project (A193231) and The Reluctant Dead on the FFFF (A254314) Posted Dec 4, 1999
Well, it's very simple: apart from enjoying every opportunity to confuse people, I'm in fact very honest, and never lie if I can help it.
I've already told you that I'm not Teaserman, so if you don't want to insult me by calling me a liar, you'll not suggest it again
Also, Teaserman has denied being me, and if we already are agreed on believing them, I just CAN't be Teaserman. Besides, you've seen us both online together, and we've both told you that we don't have the ability to be online twice at the same time
Innocent:
Irving Washington - Gone Writing Posted Dec 4, 1999
I'm sorry if I offended you, I sometimes associate people who like to confuse with people who like to lie. & you're right, the only way to make this work is to assume everyone is telling the truth, so I'll stop re-accusing people we've already found innocent.

Don't worry, you didn't offend me yet (well, not by purpose, anyway) You couldn't know how I feel about lying
Innocent:
Irving Washington - Gone Writing Posted Dec 4, 1999
Well then, Vegi's still suspect #1? Everyone I've had a hunch about so far has proven innocent by virtue of being online at the same time as Teaserman.
