A word of explanation is in order... I love to laugh and make others laugh, it seems to make life so much more tolerable. I find myself chuckling at jokes I've shared here all through the day. People see me smiling a big toothy grin for no apparent reason. They think I'm going nuts. But, as I've told other friends here at h2g2, my heart is dancing! It's because of you people.
The only problem I've found on h2g2, is that I can't hear the laughter... this is very upsetting to me. So, I just have to have faith that it's working, as it does in "real life". It's nice to hear that you're enjoying it... you make me laugh too... big laughs from the heart.
My research back there really was to find out what works, but it sure didn't sound good. My apologies.

thats (probably) where you're wrong....
Theres a lot of very dry humour on H2G2 - so dry it evaporates on the re-telling...I caint remember this thread all the way back then and I caint be arsed reading it again, but it was probably somebody coming right back at you with something...
