Wait, I've got it -- we can have an 8-bit adventure! Take all our ideas from old NES games like Final Fantasy and the first four Dragon Quest/Warrior games! And without all those 3D graphics; who needs 'em?? And all battles will be against a black backdrop, maybe with some kind of landscape at the top! Oh, and a king has to have been replaced by a monster, which is THE OLDEST RPG SUBPLOT KNOWN TO HUMANKIND!

Too weird...
On a related note, has anyone played Dynasty Warriors 2 and/or 3? If you look at Ma Chao's costume, he looks a lot like a Dragoon...

Okay! So people want an RPG? No problem! I've got one cooking (it's not got an ending, so the plot can twist and turn as much as we like until one shows up).
I've noticed there's no "Dragoon" Entry, Yar... What gives!? I'll use a Fighter Mage instead, with emphasis on spells that allow super human movement, such as Aero (for those mega-jumps!) and haste. Anyone who is interested, proceed to "The seige of Galyana."
