True - he does, he's put a lot of effort into this place, and it shows.
Hopefully we'll get more people here soon.
So, shall we dance?

Oh yes! Definetely! Would you be so kind as to escort me to the dance floor?
The Dancespace
Bluebottle Posted Nov 28, 2000
Yes, of course.
Although I thought that the point of a zero gravity nightclub was that you didn't need floor - but why not start with keeping things simple.
May I have the honour of this dance?

would like to apologize for taking so long to answer. Had better start out slow I think. A beer would be lovely. What's on tap?
Fantastic place you've got here...but what did you do to the music???
The Dancespace
Zak T Duck Posted Nov 29, 2000
Right, we have and on tap and by the crateload.
Unfortunately I'm not much of a dj, so when BB requested something slow, I just turned down the power to the decks. I'll have to find a dj, I think I saw a request for that position somewhere.

*Wonders in wearing his "Technical Manager"s caps*
Yeah, someone offered to do DJ'ing... but they seem to have legged it.... I can do some if you want..
Besides I wouldn't play too much with the voltage on those amps... you never know what might blow!

If you've finally sorted out the DJ problem, now I have to find out where my dance partner has gone too.

Hello, yes, I'm here. I've been busy smashing my car (twice) into stationary bollards in the uni car park. Never mind, we all have our talents. Mine just costs me £140 every time I want to demonstrate my skills. And, before you ask, yes, I've split the paint . I want a drink and something to cheer me up. Any suggestions?

Bluebottle Posted Dec 3, 2000
I've never really driven. Okay, I drove a 1940s Jeep around a field, but that's it.
So, I doubt I'd be able to do much better. Everyone I know who drives has had one accident or other by now - one of my friends managed to do a 540, which was impressive - and he survived with only minor bruises!
Oh well - the worries of cars. Luckily, you can't really crash in a 0 Gravity Nightclub - so, if you'd like a dance, then that's fine. If not, what would you like to drink? How about a ?

BB! She neads something FAR stronger than that!
*passes a to deano*
Right!......
*Stretches his DJ'ing fingures...*
Oooo.. decks!.....
*Turns the voltage back up to the speakers, and switches on the 32channel mixer... plugs in the valve amps, and waits for them to warm up..... boots up Mac.... fires up sampler.... and put some vinyl on the decks....*
Right... Any requests....?

*wanders in, dressed to kill in a knee length red halter dress, and 4 inch red high heals w/ ankle straps, and a live lizard sitting on her shoulder. Glancing around, and after a pause, heads directly to the DJ booth, and leans over to talk to the DJ.*
How about some Beatles?

*Wonders about the DJs lack of a responce, but leaves a little note card with her request sitting where it won't be missed, and wanders over to the bar, near the dance space (seeing as it's not only on the floor that the dancing can happen, ha!). Sitting down at the bar, her lizard climbs down her arm, and onto the bar top, and she looks around for the bar keep*

*looks around, and sees no one seems to be moving, and frowns* Hey, what happened to everyone? This place LOOKED like it should be a pretty busy place when I walked it. Yet no one seems to be doing anything. *The lizard runs off for a minute, and returns with a bottle of Jones Soda.* Well, at least someone is alive around here... Thank you *takes bottle with a smile, and opens it*

Hello, wow, someone else is here! I'm impressed!
Have you tried zero gravity dancing before? It can be quite awkward until you get the hang of it.

Ah! I wondered where you'd disappeared to. Fancy a drink? Any ideas where the bar staff have got to?

*looks up at the sound of voices, and turns to see two people talking, and moving* Hello! Someone alive around here, good The bar staff seems to be gone, but I've got a lizard who's good at retreaving drinks... tell him what you want, and he's off in a flash
Now if I can find myself a partner I'll give some of this 0g dancing a try. I'd imagine it'd be fun

Well, as there are three of us at the moment, it may be a little awkward, but hopefully Croz'll turn up again soon.
The trick with 0G dancing is to relax, and to enter a dream-like state.
