I am..but I also quote from the Club page:
"Audio/visual, lighting, and Antigrav Equipment kindly supplied from The Space Station Big C courtesy of Big C"
Of course, you could work here as a sort of technical manager to help maintain the stuff...

Ah...I notice the word 'used' was in that sentence...
Is there any particular reason why you don't work there anymore?
I Wanna job @ 0G's!
The Fish Posted Oct 21, 2000
Yes, there was also the word "worked" in there as well... simple answer being that I resigned, cos I wasn't happy there.
Although I haven't got a clue what to do now... I could always move into Bluebottle and Peregrin's house... as Roasted Amoeba's moved out and find something menial to do

On recolecion I may have travelled through it on one of my visits to Southampton... Is it a smallish place?

Bluebottle Posted Oct 26, 2000
It depends how you define Small. It's bigger than Eastleigh.
I camped in Lytchett Matravers with some people from a Chandler's Ford BB 3 years ago.

Yeah...I think Chandlers Ford spans further than Eastleigh, but it's sort of spread out a bit, where Eastleigh is really a town...
The town, Chandlers Ford, is pretty small, yes...
The rest of the place is comprised of places like Hiltingbury (where I'm moving to), and Valley Park (where I am)...

So BB, why is the nightclub part of the waterworks?
I Wanna job @ 0G's!
Bluebottle Posted Oct 26, 2000
The Nightclub was, I believe (correct me if I'm wrong, Big C) intended to be a thread on the beach page, but it kinda developed a life of its own here. And there wasn't any reason why it shouldn't be part of the waterworks - at first glance it doesn't seem particularly wet, but you can never tell.

You never know...
I think the whole thing started in one of those parties after the Virtual Prez Election, I think the one in the Beer Tent organised by DD&J. I used my Watch to dance around unaffected by gravity, and everyone else joined in, so I brought my bigger pieces of equipment in...
Croz came up with the idea of starting a thread in the Waterworks where we could keep dancing this way, and it sort of built up from that...
It's also why I'm supplying the equipmnt...
