*Notices that Swodahs Neetriht's name backwards is Thirteen Shadows.*
*Puts down bass but leaves CD playing.*
*Instantly learns how to play Sizzimgat and sits down.*

Sits calmly, happy to learn any rules.

Shrugs,

Smiles at everyone in the room,

Looks forward to learning rules - (though secretly wishes she could have placed hoatzins on the scrabble board).

*Cautiously peeks head back into room. Sneeks in on tiptoe, staring suspiciously at the Scrabble Board, as though certain it might explode at any minute. Spots the Card Game and quietly edges over there. Glances at Scrabble in paranoia several times and shivers whenever he does it.*

*Jasm merrily walks in shortly there-after. Heads over to Scrabble with great enthusiasm and pulls out seven letters with his teeth.*

*Waggles eyebrows at Shagrath in congradulations for his discovery*

*Uses complex array of gestures to indicate that Sizzimgat is a ridiculously complicated and almost immediately confusing game, that it would take literally weeks of pointing, shouting questions/insults, and head scratching to learn and I'm not sure I'm up to trying to explain it at the moment as I'm confused on some of the minor points myself, and why don't we all try poker instead*

*Mentally congradulates self on getting all of that across without speaking*

*would deal a hand of poker but is feeling very after several and a big time diff*

*shrugs apologeticaly (sp?)*

falls over, gently snoring, onto beanbag*

*Draws an image of a Tick into the wood of the table with a pen. Sticks a question mark next to it and looks around to see if anyone understood.*

Holds up hand to indicate 5

Looks at fellow potential poker players (realising that Cripple Mr Onion may not be recognised hereabout).....

Does that diver "making a ring with finger and thumb" gesture,

Then holds up two fingers, but in a kind of "bless you my son" kind of way (or was that Scouts' Honour - I don't know!).

Hopes the game has been suggested?

If we get enough players I am willing to deal..........

I have cards.

Gestures towards the area generally used for placing money - does the finger on chin, gentle smile to others present. Eyebrows may have been raised.

*leans back and looks at the cards in his hand, hoping that eventually they will make sense because he has absolutely no clue as to what card game anyone is playing or how to play it*

*changes the CD and pops in some Dimmu Borgir, saddened that people have stopped posting to the peer review conversation and that it may never get edited*
*remind everyone that it's at A2446102 *

*looks up from her corner at people playing cards while listening to some unfamiliar band*

*realises her last post was two weeks ago*

*brushes off cobwebs*


*figures she should probably leave (and once again, wonders if anyone would even notice)*

*notices*

*thinks to himself that he hasn't posted to several conversations in weeks, and it doesn't matter*
*sighs*

*Decides to play poker, more specifically five card draw. Deals cards to all who are sitting nearby, and deals a few hands to anyone who might want to join in later*

*Pulls three fistfulls of cash out of back pocket and lays them in the middle. Indicates with eyebrows that there's more where that came from. Looks at cards. Sips Mountain Dew reflectively*

Picks up cards, glances at rest of the potential players.

Raises both eyebrows.

Smiles slightly,

Pulls out a few crumpled notes, but then gestures to Swodahs that he hasn't declared an ante?

Smiles encouragingly!

Takes a seat around the poker game and grabs some cards.
Ponders about cards, and prepairs to pay an ante.

Antes a penny and stares at his cards.

Swaps two cards from the deck.

Bets $25.

Sees Shagrath's bet, and raises him 5. Now has 30.01 in the pot.

*raises the bet by another five dollars*
*looks at everyone else slyly*

*realizes that he can't take his turn until everyone else does*
*takes money back*

*Carefully displays money in the pot, thereby clarifying that there are about five notes from each major European and North American country. Shrugs and smiles apologetically at all who don't have current conversion rates memorized*

*Gets rid of one card from hand and takes one from the pile*

*Tries, fails, and tries again to keep strait poker face. Fails again, settles for another drink of Mt. Dew*

*doesn't even know who else IS playing, realizes that it would take forever to wait for them all, and puts the $5 back in the pot*
