Thought the original Entry was a bit remiss, have updated and done an almost complete rewrite. Hope this meets with approval.

There are some interesting comments in the threads hanging off that original entry -- were you able to incorporate any of that info into the updated version?

Mikey,
Yep think I've covered most of what the other researchers referred to in the "hang off" entries.

What should I say: I must admit, though, that I've never read a Sandman book, so I'm perhaps not the best person for really constructive comments, but I'll try.
A point that you could ignore completely, of course: the "Lessons Learned from Sandman" section has gone in the new version. I'm always in favour of bringing in some lightweight info/gossip/trivia to add to the entertaining factor of an entry; so if I were to decide this, I'd leave it in. But as I said, I couldn't assess whether it really adds to the entry.

for the input, I thought someone might mention the fact I omitted the "Lessons Learned" section. Here's the why I did it...
a) With over 30 dot points, I felt that it was laboured.
b) for "boring." My partner, bless her wisdom, is a massive Neil Gamain fan. Upon reading the original Entry it was her single comment about the lessons learned section.
c) Lessons are learnt from one's own experiences. If you wish to learn a lesson, it is best to read the Sandman novels themselves.
d)The dot points are one person's opinion. Opinionated pieces, I thought, were not deemed appropriate for the Edited Guide.
There you go. If overwhelming opinion is that the Lessons Learned section from the original be replaced, I'll try and incorporate it, but due to the above reasons I think it's best left out.

Hi PGHF,
I'm OK with that, b) is the killer argument here. If it's boring, then it adds nothing to the entry, I suppose...

I think I've done as much as I can, if anyone else has anything to add more than happy to accomodate

There are a few little tidy-ups needed, but I'll do these in-house. With any luck you'll see the update on the 'updated' seciotn of the Front Page by the end of this afternoon.
