Come now, where are all the New York Fans... I have seen only a couple of upstate folks... where are all the NYC Fans. With all the good places to hold something like that.

Perhaps you may want to think of that little country north of your border? What's it called again? Canada, I think? Anyways, calling all Canadians! I'm in the Edmonton area. Let's get together some time.
(Americans welcome, too!)

Hey there... When I saw this post listed I thought... Wouldn't it be kewl if whoever posted this was in the DFW area. Lo and behold, here you are! Well... count me in. I don't have a lot of free time on my hands, but if there is anything I can do to help, let me know.

So did anyone actually meet in Texas? The thread looked like it ran out of steam about 6-7 weeks ago.
If anyone's interested, I'm from San Antonio. I'm not sure if I qualify as a Texan though, since I still have a green card and I only came to live here nine years ago.

Somebody explained to me (using wax crayons and a big sheet of sugar paper and short words) that Tacoma, Washington State is further from NY than London is. How about a Mid Atlantic meeting for the millenium?
Mid-Atlantic?

What, like on a cruise ship or something? The S.S. H2G2! And we can dedicate it with a bottle of Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster!

Hey PenGwen. So far I've been having difficulty keeping track of all the interested parties but so far I think it's just you. For some reason this request to get an american h2g2 gathering organized isn't very organized and i don't think it's working.
If you happen to wanna buy me a drink though I'm free on Monday.

I'm in Canada (Edmonton, to be exact) and I'd LOVE to meet with other Canadians, or even just send messages back and forth.

Hey! I am from the Pittsburgh area and I just started this crazy thing. I was wondering if anybody would be still interested in meeting for discussion.

I live about an hour and a half from Pittsburgh, and Crazyone lives in Pittsburgh. Is there anyone else?

I'm not sure who is around. I just signed up with the guide about a week ago and I've been busy since then. In which direction do you live an hour and an half away? I am about twenty minutes north west of the city myself. We should try to find that person who wrote that Pittsburgh entry. I expect that they would be interested as well. I guess we could start a new forum about just a Pittsburgh meeting. What do you think?

I suppose so. I live in Campbell, Ohio, (which is right next to Youngstown) about 2 miles from the PA border.

Hmm. Well, I have been on H2G2 for about six weeks, and just now I'm starting to look about. I have seen several postings for people in New York, that, like most other conversations on this topic, have fizzled out to nothing. Anyways, I am from VERMONT (Wow, I know. No need to say it), and I see that I am the first from the Green Mountain State. Anyways, I'm up in Burlington right now (will be here for quite a bit of time), though I live in Rupert, VT (never heard of it? Neither has anyone else). I, for one, could easily make it to Albany, Boston, or Buffalo.
Well, places to go, naps to take,
