Are we all in one piece after the floods? Really bad around here..our school playground was completely flooded..nearly 2 foot of water at one stage! The caretakers were in it tryoing to unblock drains!

Phil went into Kingston last night to queue for the book...got home about 1am I think! For a boy who never reads I was quite impressed!

We were yesterady..not our house but our road was quite bad and i had to drive thru realy wet reaods to get hoem...the water was up to the top of my cars wheel arch at one stage! Roads closed, Kingston had lots of power cuts in shops and the main raod in was closed cos a car got stuck under a bridge near the station..it ended up floating! Made it onto the news I think. All sunny now tho..very weird....

Stuck at home with Thursday Next and HP, what more could you want? Hope you arent marooned for too long! WE are off v soon, to head down to my folks ready to fly out from Gatwick early o'clock tomorrow to Turkey! Hurrah! Very very hot there.....I will catch up in a week when I return all bronzed and gorgeous..I have 7 books and reckon I will read 5! I'll let you know how I get on!
