Ignorance is an important element of Peer Review! If all the readers knew everything in the entry, they wouldn't notice the shortcomings in it.

I've added a very brief conclusion and a section on related BBCi links to finish it off nicely. I've put in Manxkez's figures on the relative contributions of tourism and finance to the island's economy.
I'm happy with this now.

Sunny Day
Sweepin' the clouds away
On my way to wander round Castletown
Can you tell me how to get,
How to get to The Isle of Man ??

Six horned sheep? Cats with no tails? Nothing to do with the fact that Sellafield is right across from it?
Great entry Gnomon - its all there and extremely well written as per usual.
I have a couple of very minor pedantic nitpicks - hope you don't mind.
United Kingdom Army? I never heard it being referred to as that - I always thought it was known as the British Army.
"the island specialised in tourism since the late 19th Century" --> the island has specialised?
Could "ex officio" be explained in a footnote?
"Since 2001, however, there are a couple of boats being subsidised to provide a 100 tonne herring quota to support the island kipper industry." - I'm not sure what you mean exactly - are they allowed to fish in the Irish Sea, or where?

>>United Kingdom Army?
I'll change it. I was trying to get over the point that it is the army of a neighbouring country, but you're right. Its name is the British Army.
>>"the island specialised in tourism since the late 19th Century"
It used to say "has specialised" but it doesn't specialise anymore, so I'll change it to "had specialised".
>>Could "ex officio" be explained in a footnote?
I'll have to look it up. I just got that phrase off an official description.
>>"Since 2001, however, there are a couple of boats...
Pimms provided that paragraph. I'll have to ask him, unless he's looking at this.

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!

Gnomon (I've been away for a few days, otherwise I would have chipped in, but you seem to have covered the points raised without my assistance).

For the herring quota remark (found by googling on 'Manx kipper quota') my source was this entry from DIFRES:
"Isle of Man buys 100 tonne quota
Fishing News August 10 2001, page 1-2 (in English)
The article describes the attempt to bring back the herring fishery to Isle of Man. After no herring fishery at Isle of Man in 15 years, two boats from Manx now try to make a profitable fishery by supplying herring to the main kipper industry on the island. The local government has supported the herring fishery by purchasing a 100 tonne herring quota."
This appears to have been submitted in 2001 by Henrik Nielsen of DIFRES (the Danish Institute for Fisheries Research). What it means in terms of where and how the fish are caught I know no more than you
I accepted this since it was corroborated by information gained from other sources (that 'Manx smoked kippers' had for some years used the larger Norwegian herring, due to depleted stocks of herring in the Irish Sea)
I have no more detailed knowledge than that.
