SEx: The benefits of sleeping with rabbits
2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Posted Apr 1, 2011
Depends... I guess... on what sort of shape the 'table lamp' was in...
The weird thing is; with the sleep walking; though for me I'm pretty sure I'm pretty-much awake when I sort of do it, as I'm kind of conscious but not conscious, a bit like lucid dreaming kind of half-awake half asleep thing... is, that I hardly ever do it when I'm in a strange place; Its la always wehn I've been* away to a strange palce for a long while, and on one of the first few, or severl of the first few nights back...
Scent can have a strong affect, as the bit of the brain that deals with it is quite an old, evolutionary speaking bit of the brain, so we're not often always totally consciousnessly aware of having experienced a scent, even though it may be having actual affects on our brain and actions... weather asleep or awake.. I'd just like to start one day to be able to sleep more than four or five hours on a regular basis (without use of artifical stimulants/depressants )

Now I accept responsibility for the subject line but table lamps- what is wrong with you?
If the rabbit thing you were thinking was what I think you were thinking, then you have no dragged me down to your level. If I have come up with this idea by myself, I have hit a new low. Anyone care to join me down here?

We were down here before you...now move over a bit your elbows are sticking into my ribs.
I still think you should try some other furry thing etc as I mentioned above as a relatively controlled experiment.

I used to have terible trouble sleeping til I got 'Simba'. I would have trouble falling asleep, and would wake every few hours. Simba is a cushion with The Lion King's face on it which was made from a childs sweatshirt and half a pillow. Once I had Simba to cuddle at night, I slept soundly.
I take Simba with me when I am staying over night anywhere, and on the occasions I forget him, I revert to sleeping badly, in the same pattern as before. If Simbas cover is in the wash, and so swapped for a different one (still depicting Simba, still made from a childs sweatshirt, and still containing the same half pillow) I do not sleep well. Swapping him for something different entirely has the same effect. I only sleep well with the right cover. It can be freshly laundered, 2 weeks dirty (or worse!) it doesn't matter, it just helps.
Don't know if that counts as an experiment?

I was talking about this thread with a friend, and she told me that when she was pregnant, she couldn't sleep without her body pillow (basically, it's a body length pillow that helps pregnant women shift the weight of the baby to relieve stress on their spines).
Her kid is now 17 years old, and she says she still needs the body pillow. She made it sound so comfy, I might get one!

Where did she get it from? Sounds intruiging.

I think most shops that carry linens and bedding would have them. I live on the Left Coast of the States, so I don't think the shops would be the same. Maybe That Watery Place?
Think an extra width pillow?
