Otto I continue to see your argument as one for the weakness of our culture. I have an incredibly high opinion to deal with such crp. But maybe thats a Peckham thing?
We had the best and biggest love and peace walls after the riots here.

How does the rights of people to grieve in peace equate to a weakness in culture?

Friends and families of those in Wooten Basset tolerated that rubbish from the Islamists because those men ultimately dies for freedom of speech.
Land of Hope and Glory
(*Mother of the free*
That second sentance means absolutely everything to me.

So you're ok for the US Baptists to come to your neighbourhood and harrass you for not being het? How far are they allowed to go before it's not ok?

What rubbish??? The "protests" did not happen as far as I'm aware. Happy to be corrected, but let's have some evidence.
And no, none of the soldiers died in Afghanistan for "freedom of speech".

They did not die for the freedom of speech, do not rewrite history like history like that, I can't even begin to be coherant right now because I am spitting pips at that statment
And anything I say about the immorality, the legalness of that war is likely to be modded

Absolutely. I'd just laugh at them. I get the bornagains regularly at the door. I have my power tools regularly beside the front door now they seem to get the message.

Let 'em in. We can have some fun.
I woud say have acounter demo using plcards large enough and with enough people to totally block the loons view of the funerals and the funerals views of the loons. All the blokes in the demo wear overtly gay stuff and we all (including the women) grow Village people moustaches.
We made Blaines live hell when he was in his box, so much that I doubt he'll try anything else like that over here again, we could try it with the loons...although Blaine has a brain and could see what was happening; the Westboro ones haven;t got brains.

Fair enough. Some things are best to agree to differ on.
I know incredible violence in our society would happen without it...and of course I talikg about about the indirect complexities.

Really? Earlier you said:
>>
And for the teachers at the school to turn a blind a eye to my former partner's child be driven to such severe breathing difficulties by the bullying from the children of bornagain Christians that she had to go to hospital.
...
I've already spoken about the bornagains in my locality who utterly destroyed my relationship with my former partner..
>>
And is that what you did in those situations? Just laughed?
Should these extremists be allowed into the country?
Effers;England. Posted Aug 25, 2011
No I just laugh at them at the front door.
As for the other situation her child was moved to a diffrent school..and my partner and her child could no longer cope with being viewed as any thing other than a heterosexual situation. The relationship had to end.
But yeah I'm thinking the next time they turn up at my front door I might do something a bit more full on. Obviously I'd love to do incredibly horrible things to them if I could. But I'm a law abiding citizen.

I"m not talking about them being at your front door, I'm talking about them having a big negative impact on your life. Would you still 'just laugh'?
Should these extremists be allowed into the country?
Effers;England. Posted Aug 25, 2011
No, its agony. But I've learned to deal with it. And I'd *cantsay the word to do with guns* if I could when I met them.
But laughing is a brilliant way of sublimating that rage. And they just can't deal with it. They love the anger, banning, hostility stuff...it feeds the victim mentality.

Right, so you're ok with your govt allowing people from other countries in that can come and cause you agony, because for some reason this is upholding free speech?

A few more makes no difference to the underlying culture that tolerates such attitudes..Its the culture that needs to be addressed not a few loonies from the States.

And yes I believe free speech is the best way to deal with all these things. It is always the best way. otherwise its guns.
