Nah; my mother had about 120 pairs until she had a clear out a couple of years ago - and they all promptly came back into fashion.

A friend of mine, who had more shoes than me, had a clear out and offered me some of her shoes, but I had to explain that the pleasure was in shopping for, choosing and buying the shoes - being given them just wasn't the same!!
