Better Still
Don't turn it off and when you wake at your normal time you can at the clock and snuggle down again into bliss
Well that's my pipe dream anyway
and crumbs in the bed

Yes, you're right - I mean the key to this whole thing is not Really Believing it's 10.58 pm blah blah blah, but if anyone questions why you're slumped in front of the pc in your pyjamas with a glass of (or or - whichever takes your fancy) instead of being a work you can just claim as it's 10.58 pm on a Saturday evening, what is their problem ?????

there is that ...
on the downside ... you'll never get that brilliant feeling as you walk out of work on a Friday night, or the last minute of the last day at work before a 2 week holiday

YEAH
There's nothing like giving the single digit to your co-workers as you leave work for a fortnight in the SUN

or that Truly Depressing moment as you walk back in again 2 weeks later .... but let's not dwell on that one .... maybe 10.58 Could be a good thing

There's good and bad in everything
Everything to do with work is mostly bad though
The good thing about retrospect is you look at it through rose tinted spectacles
I think I could do without the warm fuzzy feeling I get when leaving work if I end up getting the warm glow from not having to go in first place

how true ... I'm piscean so I'm very bad with this kind of thing - I need some clear instructions ... I think I'm with you on the warm glow tho

bedmechanic keeper of the tongue in cheek and guardian of the empty wallet Posted Apr 18, 2005
Thats funny cause I'm Piscean also
I'm not very good with flat pack instructions
or video instructions and stuff like that
I find it easier to play with things to find out how they work(no puns please)

Researcher 1214535 Posted Apr 18, 2005
well then, you understand the whole this -v- that thing quite well
I'm ok with flat packs, not too good with videos and that kind of thing but generally fairly good as long as everything has the instructions with it ... I'm not a fiddler (despite the rumours)

bedmechanic keeper of the tongue in cheek and guardian of the empty wallet Posted Apr 18, 2005
Oh I'm definately a Fiddler with a capital F
My trouble is I start to read the instructions and I sort of go all glassy eyed and start to drift off into cloud coockoo land.
So I normaly just ignore them and start to Fiddle
It's more fun that way
Unless you end up with a chair when you should have a wardrobe
Still talking of clocks it's time to hit the sack as the dreaded alarm clock will be going off in 5 and 1/2 hours(now where's that hammer)
as a very wise toy once said "Time for bed"
his name was Zebedee
