hello!!! fellow h2g2 surfers!!!!!!! i am new. i have just joined. the website assured me that i would make friends, and someone better make good on it. i really, really like douglas adams. anyone else? anywho, back to the whole "be my friend" thing. i spent a long time writing an introduction, or something like that, and after waiting for a whold TEN MINUTES, no one has befriended me. so i figured doing this would make me a little more popular. so go to the CHALUPA page, and read what i wrote. then decide that you like it and talk to me. i demand it!! right now. c'mon, stop reading and go to my page. hurry! hurry!! right now! go! go! go! why are you still reading!? goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to h2g2 Chalupa I see you are arriving in style and jumping into many conversations - I'm sure you'll fit right in 
H2 has researchers from all over the world, many of whom are asleep at any given time. Ten minutes is a really short time here - even a few hours is a short time to wait for a reply sometimes (especially on weekends).
Although sometimes conversations get so busy you can't keep up 
The busiest time is during work hours British time (all those Brits go to work so they can post here ).
You can see who is online at anytime by clicking on the Who's Online button on the orange bar near the top of the page (bearing in mind that it includes people from other bbc/DNA sites). There's currently 30 people online and it's around 8 or 9 am Saturday in the UK.
Also h2 is a BIG place, and people may be around doing different things. Here's a good place to see where the most recent convos are: <./>Info</.>
