Weird Italian stylee "castle" in Leeds (Yorkshire)

When my friend was at Leeds uni, she lived in halls, and hers was a Count Dracula stylee "house" in the middle of a sea of normal semis in Leeds.
Does anyone know what it's called? And are there photos anywhere?
She was there in the early 80s if that's any help.

oh that could be it - I was there at a party and rather "tired & emotional" so I just have memories of it being huge, labyrinthene and like a cross between the Addams family house and the Creepy Coupe from Wacky Races!
Is it near Headingly?
