why hasnt anyone written a guide entry for , robert koch,joseph lister louis pastur and florence nightingale without these people we would be having an operation on a wooden table with no antiseptic and we would still be consius and could probably die of blood poisoning as well as not having wine! come on people write write people write!!!!!!11

We do have A600418 - The History of Modern Medicine. It gives a pretty good overview, so it's not as it they're completely neglected. But there's always room in the guide for more

Slight overstatement there? I believe it was Simpson who pioneered aneasthetic, and although all those people made massive contributions, I suspect that without them someone else would have come along with the same ideas eventually, especially since some were working on the burning issues of the day. They just happened to get there first.
