That's what I read the first time around. Then I thought it might mean "the third", implying that someone's just discovered that both his father and grandfather were also called Terry...
Unfortunately, it's neither of those. I wish I could say "Get Well Soon", but the best that can really be hoped for is "Don't Get Worse Soon".

I hope they find a cure real quick. Oh boy I hope they do - I'm addicted to his books.

As someone said up there /\ famous people being ill can be of benefit to the rest of us - draws attention to the illness and may nudge research and support along a bit. I'm off to find out an organisation that's working on it so's I can donate a bit.
