We also get the highest density of tornado reportings (actual sightings as opposed to radar detection) of anywhere in the world here in the UK - they're not that uncommon and, unlike Kansas, the UK is so densely populated it's almost guaranteed each one is spotted.

Seriously, what's the moaning about? I get up every morning and go out into the -40 Celsius, get into my vehicle which is parked outside, without any cover, start it up and drive away. Millions of people do exactly the same thing.
Put on a sweater, for goodness sake!
