Seems that way to me. Hey, Zaphod didn't; he wasn't even in it. And it also seems that the Guide itself passed away in that book. Marvin managed to beat everyone to it, he died on the last page of So Long, and Thanks for All the .

God I love Marvin. That part in the book was so sad, I almost didnt finish it cause of my admiration for a fellow paranoid android. As for the ending of Mostly Harmless, I read it so long ago I forget, but I'll re read it and get back to you. I'm good at this sorta stuff, I can figure it out. And Marvin lived the longest out of all of them. He lived three times the length of the universe, cause of his getting left behind, traveling through time, etc. At least thats what I recall...
