I signed up when the whacky animations from ficticious researchers stopped and I sussed out what the were really about!

Bit slow on the uptake there.

I saw the Tomorrow's World in question.smiley - smiley Didn't have Internet access at the time though.smiley - sadface Joined within a month of getting access, having seen an article in a computer magazine, which reminded me.smiley - smiley Became a virtual ghost when h2g2.com ceased to be.smiley - sadface

Likewise - I saw the TW thing without a PC, then when I got one it took a couple of months to remember/find site, which explains my Sep 99 apperance, but at least I have a 5 digit U number smiley - biggrin
