Alabaster, plain, hub, goo, text or brunel?
Nemo Nihilque Posted Mar 29, 2003
So I started out Alabaster, but now that I've seen this conversation, I thought I'd check them all out. As it turns out, "Goo" really is best, so I converted.

I use Goo, and I'm starting a PhD in Ecology and Evolution in September, so don't go on about smartness and natural selection, I have both covered.

AlabasTURDis a Turd
Like the Turd of a Bird
On the Winshield of a car
Parked by the curb.
But the blue of the Goo
Fills one with poetry too
Brunel's green is better
Than Alabaster's white letter
But the Blue of Goo
Is filled with poetry too

Alabaster is calm, tranquil, serene
Goo is messy and dirty
Alabaster is clean
And Alabaster is also purdy
It looks like poo
When you're in goo

Never!
That was just off the top of my head. Expect a number of anti-goo poems on my personal space soon.

Now I've seen everything. Vogon poems to persuade you to change the look of your browser.
I'm reminded of a joke ad from MAD Magazine, late fifties/early sixties: "Is your hair thinning? Use Goo shampoo and have fat hair!"
(. . . and now even that's on sale in your friendly pharmacist.)
