Not so! Many of us still can't put in that symbol! Yawn-making, isn't it? smiley - yawn

I don't find that having a lack of that symbol is a handicap in any way at all. A particular stimulation for both mind and digits, to my cogitations.

As summat of a sluggard in this virtual world of h2g2, I'm sorry to admit that I am only now grasping which symbol it is that various of our "compatriots" lack.

To be fair, I only found this forum today, prior to lunch, so I probably wasn't as slow as many of you!

It was talk of an author that told yours truly which symbol was missing ... prior to that I was struggling.

I had thought it was various punctuation marks at first but soon saw that that wasn't right.

It's such a major part of our arabic originating script that typing without using it, is not insubstantially taxing on my brain. It has a habit of slipping into a word without so much as a hint as to its plans.

In my first posting it hid so convincingly that I didn't spot it until I'd hit Post.
