And I'd say the good Doctor Deckchair is correct on the elephant's artistic leanings. They seem to favour bold sweeps and swirls of cheerful bright colours 
If you're really curious there's a website somewhere (try searching on elephant art and I'm sure you'll find one) showing some examples and telling you a bit about the 'artists'.
