..curious as to why the people who discovered DNA figured that the group of people with the greatest vested interest in hearing about it were the patrons of the Eagle pub.
Maybe it was one of those typical pub conversations..
"Bet you can't discover something important this evening.."

"Right then, we'll be back in a couple of hours and announce what it is.."
I mean, if Albert Einstein had wandered into our local, and interrupted the football to announce his theory of relativity, he'd have most likely ended up out in the car park, having to "proove it" to big Barry and the Hardnuts.. but then, maybe thats not so typical..
