Australian anything really gets on my nerves, it's the bloody accent.

PH: wanting to drop into bed. It's only half past four...

Oh totally with you on British Masterchef; it's a great show, well made and often edge of seat stuff. But give it a break with the 'how much does this mean to you' questions that get asked before, after and during every single competition! smiley - yawn C'mon guys, think up a new question! (my reply would be; "Ach not much really; it was something to do in a quite few weeks")

Plus, as stated, the answers are totally OTT. You know what? If you get booted out next round, you'll still be alive; you'll still be able to cook; hell, you'll still be able to pursue a career as a chef; oddly enough 99.999% of successful chefs *didn't* win Masterchef! You'll also have pretty good thing on your CV; you qualified over the thousands that applied, and you have had your 15 minutes of fame on TV. All things considered, when you get booted out. CHILL!

PH; Really competitive people.

PH: how hard it is sometimes to find wide lined diaries, especially here in Poland. And anywhere. My wrist tends to hurt if I'm trying to fit writing in a small space and said writing looks like a coked up spider walked across the page without having to fit in it THOSE SMALL SPACES ARGH.

Furthermore, products online that do not have pics other than front covers. RE diaries then how the hell do you tell if it's useful to you in terms of space?!

Sho - employed again!

the point about Masterchef, though, to be fair to the contestants is that it is sometimes about their livlihoods. As far as I know a lot of them go on to work in the restaurant biz, or open their own, and smiley - chef take cooking VERY seriously.

It's no accident that people like Gordon Ramsay and the White chappie are such eejits (let's be honest): it's because they take their work VERY seriously, and that is why they are good.

I don't watch masterchef though unless I can't avoid it - the two shouty blokes get on my nerves.

Wife and I call it Mastershout and the two blokes are the only reason we watch it! Pretentious food served in minuscule quantities doesn't interest us, but the stand-up comedy duo have us in fits of laughter.

fords - number 1 all over heaven

Beatrice - I wrote myself a Hitchhiker ringtone for my Nokia too smiley - biggrin Ah, those were the days *reminisces*

Anna - I used brand new Macs when studying journalism and they used to crash more than my five year old PC running a dodgy version of Win 98 smiley - evilgrin

Fords- oh god yeah, we were editing vid sometimes 1 min, sometimes an hour or longer. You underestimate how much time you will need to edit said stuff, and when Mac keeps crashing because the stuff you need to do makes it overload because of all the other editing stuff on the computer, and Final Cut is utter crap, that is when you pull your hair out. I remember our team getting the college keys and spending NIGHTS in the editing suite (only one and it didn’t fit the 30 of us) when it hit deadline time. Many tears, tantrums, alcohol and cigarettes were consumed, inanimate things were thrown and the best bit of it all?

Iron Maiden at 2am and lot of us chanting along with the “woe to you, oh Earth and sea...” bit of the start of Number of the Beast. I miss those days but I don't miss the stress.

PH: people. At computers. What gives you the right to call me names, hmm? I really dislike people.

@ Pastey: true. If you're going be an ignorant sod, you ain't worth my time.

PH: being too tired to revise but the exam is on the 2nd and ohgodohgodohgod; this is last minute revision again. But on the upside, my parcel from River Island is on its way and the others have been dispatched, so I have new clothes, hairdryer and a handbag coming to me soon! (Yes, I am shallow... retail therapy is great, haha).

Why am I up?
