Yep except its still dark. I have a craving for this weather...or even something a bit more windy and rainy...totally Atlantic Low. It's so soothing.

At 55F/12C, its what is considered distinctly chilly in southern California.

Distinctly hazy, only first magnitude stars visible and those only barely.

Winter's finally come to Chicago, if a month or so late. Currently 10°F / -12°C with light winds, around 10 mph. We're expecting from 3-8" of snow by evening, depending on what part of the city. I live close enough to the lake that I'll probably see closer to 8". At least it's not going to be a *lot* of snow... though if it's windy, visibility will be bad getting home after work.

And we will probably get the same storm a few hours later
projected for Lansing,MI 2" by nightfall.

Scudding clouds accompanied by quite a stiff wind making it feel chilly enough to put the radiator on here in Bahrain.
