And Ghost Town, I was explaining to my mum about how it caught the mood of the time and it if it had been released a couple of years earlier or later it probably wouldn't have been the big hit it was

Not to mention "Ghost Town" although it is one of the most depressing songs I've ever heard. I also have a soft spot for Selector's "On my Radio" and indeed a lot of early 80's 2-tone ska.

Well I've got this on the brain this morning, cos I was thinking about Bass Player Herbie Flowers [whose most famous track must be playing bass on Lou Reed's walk on the wild side].
