What do you think of shops being open on Sundays?

Good, ok, maybe selection wise, but the way they treat their employees, as well as many of the non-food items being produced in very low wage countries by children has quite put me off them!

You mean life goes on if you're an exploited child worker, or if you don't have shops open on Sundays, or was it just a general comment on the state of the Universe?

Well yes it is very wrong to exploite child workers. At end of the day we all have to buy good somewhere but if it is proved they do exploite you have a right to boycot.

I have no objection to shops being open on Sundays (or the middle of the night etc) but I feel people should have a statutory right to 2 days off a week, extra pay for working unsocial hours, and a right to choose not to work on days of religious importance to them. This should apply to all jobs, not just shopworkers.
