There's over 4 different types of tie : half-colours, full-colours, prefect/headboy, normal, some sporting type tie and if you do a sport out of school (rugby mainly) if the team you play for has a special tie you can wear that. Possibly more but I can't remember them, one tie is enough for me. Thinking about it over my school life I've had to have 3 different ties. Two at my old school, one from before they changed the house system, one after they changed the house system and then a tie for Kings.

so would you have to wear all the ties at the same time if you did all the sport and stuff and had all the differnt ties?
We did* have a tie at my primary school... it wasn't too* horrible I recall

Not sure yet, maybe to do with the fact its still dark outside, although I’ve wash the lot today so what ever tomorrow brings I’m ready for it, ironing aside

I don't think it was the 'staying up til 6' that gave you a hangover, more likely to be the alcohol consumed up to that time.
