I have a very good lead on a job interview, one that will release me from a very dull and stupid job.

After suffering painful hips for 18 months, I saw a rheumatologist on Monday. Not only did he diagnose the problem on the spot (trochanteric bursitis), but he started treatment (cortico-steroid injection into the joint - v. painful!) and recommended ibuprofen to deal with any future pain.

Today I ran up the stairs for the first time in 18 months!
