It's finished. What a cracker of an episode. I was devastated when I thought he'd left them all behind - weird how they made him suicide a positive thing. Just the right ending though.
See that they've confimed Ashes to Ashes - don't know if I'll be able to get excited about that...we'll see.

Yes the best episode by far, but I am in a quandry as there was a slightly odd change of mind to our hero, one minute his boss is slim and getting dirty looks, and criminally negligent due to allowing the death of a man to happen, next minute it is all jokes and pally due to boss "leading from the front".
Don't get me wrong our heroe's goody goody act got a bit nausiating at times, last nights you have broken several human rights act comment last night for example, but this sudden change of mind was a bit odd.

Just watched it through again, and I definitely agree with John Simm - five minutes too long. Perhaps they thought it would be too bleak if they ended it at the jump even though Sam did it with joy?

The sequel is going to be like "a touch of Moonlighting teamed with a measure of Miami Vice"
Sounds pretty damn good to me!

We enjoyed it very much. I was gripped throughout. 5 minutes too long? Maybe. I have to say I was expecting him to stay in the future and meet Annie in the future somehow. Where did John Sim say it was five minutes too long? I'd like to read that. My mind wandered in a couple of the episodes this series and I think that if there was another series I would've lost interest.

Oh I don't know. There are a lot of ABMUFC supporters out there, and we'll all take the opportunity to watch something other than the red scum
