I haven't been anywhere today but on a bored Sunday a few years back I decided to make a round trip using as many modes of public transport as possible without repeating any. Started on the busform Walthamstow, then the underground to Liverpool Street, then the Docklands Light Railway to somewhere (which was lovely) then back home on the train. Surprisingly good day!

Most unusual mode of transport I've had must have been the prisoner's cage on the Inquisition's witch hunt wagon at a medieval fair

Dublin's Luas tram.
The most exciting one I've been on was a snowmobile (skidoo), which is like a motorbike with skis instead of the front wheel and caterpillar tracks instead of the back wheel.
