Since I'm assuming that I won't have much time this year
I'm wishing you all a happy Christmas
and a slightly better than mediocre new year 
I've just handed half my course work in
the other half is due tomorrow
but its mostly done 
we're off to the slightly chillier Scotland on Wednesday
We've done all the Christmas shopping
though it's not all wrapped up yet.
I did want to do some Christmas baking and perhaps I'll find the time somewhere
there is a recipe here for flowerpot bread which looks nice
except perhaps without the cherries
not that I'm against cherries just that there not a favourite of mine
I'm looking forward to Ephraim's first Christmas
he's walking round chairs and things already
and hates sitting down
In the new year I'll be stepping up my ninjitsu training to two nights a week so we can get some weaponry in
which is good as my skill with a boken is what got me my red belt in the first place but also its just so much fun
well as I said, Happy Christmas to all
