I have been to that univercity interview

It was no where near as creepy as i thought it would be
after the two hour drive to dundee i managed to find the univercity building after following there extreemly hard to understand map.

the interview was very nice, some simple questions about how i thought univercity life would be, and they asked about my free time interests, I had to mention H2G2, I told them that i was an ace and that h2g2 was lacking reality to an extreem... and they laughed and thought it was charming, and they even seemed to approve of the fact that i lead a completly seperate life on-line,
Infact they seemed to think it was a good thing,
there mad... i am going to a univrcity run by mad people...

Heh. Sheffield Hallam just basically said "yeah, we're a shite former polytechnic, but you only do a ten hour week and the pubs are ok." when I went.

I had to go to an interview to go to my high school. My principal has NO idea...

well they mentioned something about...
shift work... and something else to do with practical placements...
then there was this other thing about essays...

Then again nurseing students get payed a bursery to study...
so it cant be that bad...

All they said to me was 'first year 10 hour week, second year 7 hour week, third year you have to do a strenuous 5 hour week. Oh and the pubs are cheap.'

Which sort of sold it to me on the basis of no work, mucho beer.

they dident tell me about the drinks,
but they do have a free swimming pool on campus...
then again they do have a strict non alcohol policy that i probably should respect...

I didn't have a single university interview. All I did was send in my ucas form and they sent me back an offer.

become friedns with people who don't live on campus

they dont allow alcohol on campus and if thety think you have been drinking they write it in your report or something like that...

well... i can cope without alcohol...

I just went to the open days.

well nurseing is one of those corses thay alweays interview you for,
so next is the health test...

they dont even tell you if you pass the interview till you pass the health test

*shudders* Ach... open day...

I just asked my uni choice & they begged me to go.
Think they had a problem.

a uni with a non-alcohol policy?

but...um...there must be bars around and stuff that the students go to?

It occurs to me that British universities are fundamentally different from Dutch ones.

It occurs to me I don't actually know much about Australian universities.

Oh, well. You're still young.

All I know about is enter scores and some courses and where some are held, thanks to people I know doing them... Actually speaking of that, WHAT does my cousin do?!? Anyways, I'll probably know more next year once my brother goes off to Uni.

I've never heard of a British university that bans alcohol though. I mean our students union several bars in it
