I went home to scotland to see my mum on the 27th of December
with my wonderful Fiancé (Joe/Khamsin)
his American friend (Matt - The Driver)
and another friend that we met in scotland (Jordan - Gerbil)
It was a suprise christmas present, and boy was i suprsied
and so was my mum when i phoned up on boxing day asking for somewhere to stay
It was great being able to see my family again
(yes even my sister.... though perhaps.... nah lets go with great)
and we got to suprise my gran that was fun
I do miss my family in scotland terrably
but i had a good time there and i look forward to being able to go back
It kinda made me realise that no matter where i go
it will always be my real home...
at least for a while longer
on sadder news i learned that Fudge (my cat in scotland)
got poisoned... probably rat poison they think
and she had to be put down
I hate people that can do that without thinking....
happy new year to everyone

Secretly Not Here Any More Posted Jan 3, 2006
I've still not seen home this year... Spent 'Hogmanay' in Edinburgh, which I'll (grudgingly) admit can throw a good party. Then again, 6 quid for Hard Fi, fireworks, insane amounts of people with beer and an obligatory police caution can't be bad....
Unlucky about the cat by the way.

Glad you enjoyed Edinburgh,Pysc.I go there ever second year for New Year with my dad,and this year was the first year I've went out to see the fireworks.Last time it was rained off.But it was absolutely fabulous.
Did you go on the Big Wheel in Princes' Street?

I'm glad you still feel at home at home - our house was sold a couple of months ago, and I stayed with my dad in the house he's temporarily staying in...and it wasn't home at all.
It's weird - I don't feel like I have a home at all !

I think that once you get to a certain age, the house your parents live in ceases to be home, and just ends up as the house your parents live in. That'd explain why so many Uni students don't feel "at home" at home. If you get what I mean...
